Congratulations to the I Love America Day Photo Contest Winners

1st Place - Our littlest Guardian Angels Tawny Archibald Campbell This is a photo of 3-year old Ceilidha Campbell pushing an injured soldier through the halls of an American Hospital shortly after losing his leg during an explosion in Iraq. Service and support of our troops is not limited to adults. Even our youngest volunteers can make a lasting impression in the morale and care of our troops. Ceilidha regularly visits the injured service men and women, always wearing angel wings, to, in her words "bring smiles to the hurt Soldiers."

2nd - Place - Daddy's Home Nadia Czarina Wright Families and loved ones are separated some times. But there's nothing that compares to the time that parents and children spend together…

3rd Place - Military Farewell MSgt Jeanne E. Daigneau A member of the Connecticut Air National Guard waves good-bye to his family and friends as he walks to a military aircraft leaving Bradley Air Guard Base to support Operation Iraqi Freedom in Southwest Asia on March 12, 2003. He carries the American flag in his backpack to proudly represent his country and his fight for freedom against the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001.

The images below will be incorporated into a quilt with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. 
This patriotic quilt representing the 13 images will be put on tour early this summer.
